Wylie is sandwiched in between the 2 lakes of Lake Lavon and Lake Ray Hubbard.  Excellent Wylie schools cover parts of both  of the lakes. It is an old farming community that has changed dramatically in population and in the variety of development of homes.  Undeveloped land and small farms can still be found next to the lakes.   Now upscale developments are beginning to fill some of the open space.   The dark blue in the map reflects Wylie school district and   Highway 78 can be seen in the middle of the map. Check under Wylie communities to learn about the different types of real estate and new developments.
